Here are the pirate squares I made. I got the idea from pictures I saw on Facebook and decided to play about and make my own. I started in the middle with the brown using a half double crochet stitch. I worked around that with the red and black before adding white and pulling it into a granny square.
I made three pirates then some other granny squares to match. Maybe I will make more and turn them into a pirate blanket!
